Learn the Right Way to Change a Flat Tire on Your Vehicle

Regardless where you get a flat tire, the first thing you should do is ride the rim a few feet until off the highway far enough so other drivers will avoid you working on the car. Put the vehicle in park and set the emergency parking brake before changing a flat tire. Use the tire lug wrench to just loosen the lugs, then jack your vehicle so the flat tire is up off the ground.

Use the tire lug wrench to take off the lugs, then pull the tire off. Place the spare tire on the studs, hand tighten the lugs, then add a turn with the lug wrench. Lower the car, tighten the lugs, and put away all the supplies before driving to a service center.

Keep those tire rotation appointments current at The Sharpe Collection so the service team can keep a close eye on the condition of the tire treads.
